Tradition of value packs is a fairly recent one and it is one of the best things that have happened for beginners. This is an easy way to get started and buy everything you need to start in one single combo. Fender`s Classical series currently has only one classical guitar pack, the FC-100. FC-100 guitar is a non-cutaway classical guitar with fully acoustic construction. Laminated mahogany and laminated spruce are used for the body construction. Mahogany comprises back and sides, while the spruce is used for the top. All-laminate construction is both very affordable and gives good projection. It only lacks the power the solid tonewoods give. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a solid rosewood bridge with synthetic bone saddle. There are no under-saddle pickups, preamps and mics installed on FC-100. Neck on FC-100 is made of mahogany and it features the standard 12th fret dovetail joint. Standard contour is found in the back, while the 19-fret rosewood fingerboard sits on top. 1-13/16" string nut, flat radius and side dot inlays complete the fingerboard.
